This innovative deck stain pad absorbs more stain compared to its traditional alternatives. This lets you spread more stain each time you pick up the brush, minimizing the time spent on the project and allowing for a smooth, even coat with optimal coverage. It can also be applied with less pressure, so you exert less energy as you stain your deck or hardwood floor. Built to provide a smooth, even coating of stain on hardwood floors, outdoor fences, and backyard decks, this 9 in. stain applicator pad is a must-have for your next staining project. The visually-pleasing finish provides a subtle, understated aesthetic that will make your DIY project look like it was done by a professional. Designed with a rounded edge when attached to deck stain applicators, this deck stain pad offers added longevity compared to less rugged models. The rounded edge design can withstand screws, nails, rough wood and splinters, increasing the lifespan of the pad and minimizing the number of replacements you need. Featuring a convenient application method to connect the replacement pad to the deck stain applicator, you can swap out replacement pads in just a few seconds whenever you need a replacement.

I am staining a deck with it and it works great on the deck. Not shur if it works as well on a fence.
Yes
Yes!
With my experience I doubt it can be washed for reuse and if you could I doubt it will still perform the same. The pads are made to be disposable. My advice would be toss it and replace.
Yes, absolutely, as answered above - soap and warm water will clean it to original white color, if you clean right after staining. It, however, will not last forever, since it does worn out.
I used a Home Depot stain brand and cleaned the applicator with a mild soap and water.
Yes. Mineral spirits. Rubber gloves and a bit of squishing about, changing the solvent a few times. Then some soap and water if you want.
Yes absolutely
yes
Absolutely
Yes, but the material has to be thick enough not to run out of the pad. It could work with paint, but stain might run out before you can get it on the wall!
It may be used on smooth walls, but is more coarse than recommended. When the paint dried, it would not be as smooth a finish and could possibly have drips and runs. One would have to 'draw out' the paint so it would be smoothed out over the surface. A wall pad would do this on one stroke and would be faster, and smoother finishing that the deck pad.
If you’re staining walls then yes. If you’re painting, a roller would work much better.
Yes it does
It comes with one pad.
Yes the pad comes with it
Yes mine came with a pad, the pads are petty tough so should last a while.
The applicator came with a pad on it.
just to a broom handle, or a paint roller handle anything that has threads on the end, the brush actuality worked real good on some better wood
I used a paint roller handle
It attaches to any standard paint roller extender handle or extension pole. There are dozens to choose from.
U can use it with the application that comes with it or if u have a high ceiling that can't be reach with this application u can attach it to a roller extender
I used a paint roller handle.
This can be held in your hand and used as is, or any threaded broom handle or paint pole will work on it.
I use my mop handle!
Foam sponge under a soft brush-like pad
Not sure, it’s not in front of me
It has a hard plastic backing, an open cell foam pad and synthetic fiber. I have not experienced any linting with these. Works very well for flooring other large areas, cleans up easily after use of water based stains/coatings
think just some kind of plastic.
worked well with ipe oil stain on hardwood deck
I have used it many times to apply oil based stains.
Hi, Elle! Yes, I just used this on my deck project last weekend. The pad was very easy to apply with and make sure you do not over-saturate the pad because it hold a lot of stain and the stain is thin. Make sure you shake, mix your stain and then use the pad in the pan and you will enjoy the speed you can work with it. Press down slightly, so you do not need to go back over it with a rag or brush.
Yes, I used this with a deck project, it works great. Do not over saturate the pad, it holds plenty!
Yea should be able to
