Hello Ann, thank you for your interest in our lighting. This lamp has an on/off rotary switch located on the socket.
What is the equivalent wattage of the bulb included (12 watt) to an incandescent bulb? There are many different conversions and I need to get a better sense of the brightness of this lamp with the included bulb. I also need to know what the maximum wattage is (any limitations) for this lamp.
Hi Tom. This lamp comes with an LED bulb but it can use either an CFL or LED bulb with their respective max wattage: CFL 23W OR LED 12W. The brightness for the LED bulb is measured at 800 lumens if that helps give you a better idea on how bright this is. Thank you for your inquiry.
The lamp says 100W max. The bulb that comes with it is an LED 9W and 2700K on the "warmth" scale. I'd guess it's about 60W equivalent and a gentle warm color. It works great in the living room.
