what lights should be on when the battery is fully charge ?

I recently got my Ryobi glue gun it leaks constantly. I'm not talking here and there it's non stop. I know glue guns leak, but I've never had one leak like this and pour a 1/4 of the glue on the paper below. Has anyone figured out a solution for this?
I have used this glue gun quite a bit and not had that issue. If you are using the supplied glue sticks, you shouldn't either. Possibly a defective gun?

I have same Glue gun and have used it a lot. I have not had the same issue. I have gone through 30 of the long sticks. I would send this question to Ryobi. Sounds like a question for them.
Maybe try pulling the glue stick back a little to relieve pressure when you aren't actually using it. That has always worked for me with any glue gun I've had in the past. You might also try a different brand of glue stick. Good luck!
I have three of these glue guns and they dribble a bit but not bad. There is probably a check valve, spring and ball? You might try unscrewing the tip ( when it is at operating temperature) and see if it needs to be cleaned
I recently purchased the Ryobi Hot Glue Gun (P305). I used a Roybi+ 18V battery. It is fully charged and works in other tools. When used in the glue gun and switched on, the light does not turn on, and it is not warming up. What am I missing?

Sounds like a defective glue gun. I would return it and get a new one.
I would try another battery just in case first, but it looks like the glue gun is not working.
