Does this sink scratch easily? Do you have to be careful with what you use to clean it?
Thank you for your inquiry. This sink is sanded, coated with PVD, and finished with a Nano surface, giving it a hardness rating of 9H—just below the hardness of diamond, which is 10H. Therefore, the sink surface is highly resistant to scratches. However, we recommend avoiding the use of scouring pads, as they contain abrasive particles that can be as hard as diamonds. For best care, we suggest wiping the sink's interior with a soft cloth after use to protect the surface effectively. Do not leave any steel, copper or cast iron cookware in the sink for a long period of time. This may also leave iron particles that will corrode the sink.
The specs state this requires and 36-inch base, but the picture shows it installed on a base that is flush with the apron width that is 33-inches. So clearly the base is 33 not 36 inches? Because where are the 3 extra inches to account for if it is 36?
Thank you for your inquiry. 36-inch base is required. The 33-inch sink bowl can fit in a 33-inch cabinet, but the mounting clips require 1.5 inches of space on each side. We have seen customers use bracket supports from the bottom for installation, making the 33-inch sink workable in a 33-inch cabinet.If you adopt bottom support installation, 33 inch cabinet is workable
