Questions & Answers
What is the walkable dry time
I see you do not recommend grout yet when we did the “see in your room” option it appears to be grouted? Or is this a look you can achieve without grout.
We do not recommend for MosaiCore to be grouted. The product is groutable if our customers choose to do so but if grouted it will void the warranty on the product.
is this tile good for under roof vinyl window lani
If this is pertaining to an attic or similar type of installation, we would not advise using this material unless there is a functioning HVAC at all times.
My subfloor is osb.. can I use an underlayment if need be?
You should not install this product over OSB. You would need to secure a new, 1/4 inch piece of interior grade plywood to the OSB and then install the MosaiCore on top of the new interior grade plywood so it can properly and evenly adhere.
Is this a vinyl tile?
Yes, this is a luxury vinyl tile.
Can we use acrylic grout with this?
We do not recommend using any grout with our products. While we have seen great results, it does void the warranty and is not recommended.
Can we use bathroom floor ?
Yes, you can use this as a bathroom floor. The subfloor should be stripped of any waxes and coatings and a proper subfloor must be in place that is flat, level, and even so that the MosaiCore may properly adhere.
Can this be installed over a glued down sheet vinyl floor?
Yes it can be, the sheet vinyl must be totally fastened to the subfloor, and the MosaiCore should be glued down to the sheet vinyl floor with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The sheet vinyl floor should be stripped of any waxes or coatings before gluing the product down.
