It is recommended that only a professional rug cleaner should undertake a complete overall cleaning and your rug should be professionally cleaned only if it’s a deep stain. Cleaning companies use a special shampoo that goes into the fibers. Please reach out to other professional rug cleaning companies nearest you, and ask questions. You want to give them as much information about your rug as possible such as the fiber content, backing, and overall size of your rug. Will the colors/dye bleed on to my hard floor under this rug?
Hello. Dye bleeding is very rare in our rugs as it rarely ever happens. However, we do recommend keeping any liquid substances away from this rug as it would cause damage to the construction. We also recommend avoiding any water-based cleaners. Thank you for your inquiry.
