Can the doors of J Collection Fairhope kitchen cabinets be painted a high gloss color?

If I install these in the living room with a stone tile top for extra seating will they hold the weight (up to 300 lbs)?

Can this be turned vertically?
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can stack the bridge cabinets on top of each other without creating an issue. Regardless of if they are both lift up doors or if one has a left/right hinge and the other is lift up etc. No space is required between the cabinets to stack them, however with lift-up cabinets you must consider the height to the ceiling as the door opens past 110 degrees, so you want to leave about 6” to the ceiling. Can the hinge placement be changed so that the door opens down instead of up?
Thank you for your question, the hinge for the wall lift up cabinet is not reversible. However, it is possible to use the cabinet upside down to open the door downwards. Having said that, the cabinet door will open beyond 90 degrees so it's important to ensure there is enough space and to understand this application will not work in every environment.
