These units claim to be dual sensing. Does this mean the use both ionization sensors and photoelectric sensor to detect both rapid and slow fires? I need to be sure they dont have photoelectric sensors.

Can I use the wire harness from the smoke detector that I'm replacing? The plug prongs are exactly the same and it's a pain to reach all the wire nuts, untwist them and then reverse process whilst standing on a ladder reaching up! I'm 70 years young....

Can this model replace USI-1204
