The Awntech New Orleans awning is a spear arm style door and window awning applicable for residential homes and commercial buildings. The patented modular awning framework is designed for seamless assembly and installation for any homeowner, DIY (Do-It-Yourself) project, or professional installer. The commercial grade aluminum frame is strategically handcrafted and includes black iron projection arms in the shape of a spear. The New Orleans comes with Beauty-Mark Brand 100% acrylic fabric offered in a variety of solid and stripe colors. The canopy fabric offers optimal shade, has a resistance coating to prevent mildew, water, fading and UV sun ray damage. Each Nantucket canopy comes with a wavy valance that hangs off the end of the canopy and it is aligned with a chorded trim. Awntech fixed awnings are durable and engineered and tested to withstand high winds and heavy snow. They are pre-packaged, modular, light weight, are accessible to parts replacements, and have a five year limited warranty.

How space do you need over the window to install the bracket that holds the awnings? Can you use the awning with shutters?
The awning requires 24"inch oc mounting space above the door. Please keep in mind all awnings 5'ft and over require a middle support arm. For the measuring guide please reach out the techsupport@awntech.com
Is the fabric sunbrella
Awntech using 100% acrylic fabric, equivalent to Sunbrella. For an additional fee and the color code we can provide Sunbrella fabric
What size awning do I get if my window is 32.5
The standard sizes start from 3ft (40.5 inches exact). The total width is 40.5 inches and the width of the brackets is shorter. It is 36 inches. Be sure to measure your window frame from end to end width. Contact techsupport@awntech.com for any other questions you may have. We hope this helps!
Is the awning water proof?
Our BEAUTY-MARK® brand fabrics are 100% acrylic and have a UV Standard 801 certification. The coating on the fabric is a preventative that make the fabrics fade, mildew, soil, and water resistant. This fabric is not waterproof
