A: NO! It's ridiculous! It cycles through colors, but white is NOT one of them. No other color changing LED light I've ever had EXCLUDED white. Sometimes you just need a light! This ruins the lamp for me and I'll probably return it now. Very disappointing.

A: We run ours on a timer for about 8 hours each evening. We have had it for over two years without any problems. It has never overheated.

A: I purchased it for my sister about a year ago and she keeps it on all while she's in the house. Which is most of the time because she's s retired. No problem with over heating and the bulb still works.

A: We leave ours on overnight. It is LED so it shouldn't overheat. I do not notice a significant temperature change while using it.

Been going strong since 2015

The Alsy glow ball lamp has been in my home since 2015 and through 3 cross country moves. My kids have taken turns having it their rooms, we have used it as decor for parties & it is currently sitting on my camera shelf and has been on constantly since 2020. The fluid changing of the colors is calming. If anything ever happens to this one, I will definitely purchase it again.

love it, still going strong

I've had this light for 3 years now, I turn it on every evening for about 6-8 hours, and it still works perfectly just like the day I bought it. I came back to search for it to buy one for my niece, and noticed some negative reviews so I thought I'd add my 2¢. It's awesome, it's reasonably priced, and if you like ambient slow changing color led vibes you will love this thing. To the people who broke theirs or had problems, home depot has an epic return/exchange policy so take advantage of it if you have any issues. I highly recommend this sweet light ball

I had trouble getting this to turn on. After I plugged it in, I pushed the button on the switch several times and then the button at the base several times, and nothing happened. Eventually we kept playing with it and it finally came on. I'm guessing there was a lose wire. I would have been happy with it, but then my young daughter came along and dropped it on the floor (wood floor) and the side cracked. It has a long 5" crack along the base. Not only is the crack very sharp now, you can see the electrical components. It's going in the trash if I can't get Home Depot to replace it. Save your money, it's cheap China crap.

So versatile and relaxing!

This Glow Ball is very light weight and can be used in any room. Just plug it in and have fun! Teenagers would love to add it to their rooms for a cool glow. Kids could also use it as a night light since the color changing is very soothing. We used it as a center piece for our New Year's Day party. It's a very fun and unique item.
