Hi Budd, thank you for your question. Our i300 deep base needs to be tinted before use, or else it will go on clear. Also, usually, deep bases are for darker colors. A white base should be available that does not need to be tinted and is ready to use (paint desk can assist). I suggest returning the container you bought at Home Depot to get the correct one. A satin or semi-gloss finish is typically used for bathrooms. Please note we do not recommend our products for surfaces that will be submerged underwater. like the inside of showers.
