The height of the seat back on this model is 27 inches. I'm only 5'10" so it fits me fine. But I can see where 6'4" would cause much more of a gap for a tall man. I have had this model a couple of months and it has held up pretty good so far. No frills, good for basic office work provided you don't mind a gap between your shoulders and the top of the seat back.

No this model does not recline. Not uncomfortable, but I can't recline back for my power naps. It is holding up so far in the two months I have owned it. Good basic office chair for a full figured man.
