24 in. Bathroom Towel Rack with 2-Towel Bars Wall Mount Holder in Matte Black

I like to talk about the design of certain items and finish with my thoughts on value. One big "flaw" with this towel rack is that the mounting brackets are 21-1/2" from center to center so IF you put blocking ahead of time on a new build, great; if not, check before you buy. With 24" on-center studs, you can make it work by rotating the brackets 90 degrees and using long screws at a 45 degree angle to reach into the sides, but with traditional/conventional 16" studs, you'll be stuck mounting it to drywall either way, which won't support much weight. You can also buy better anchors than the ones provided as there is plenty of space within the mounting cup for a much larger screw head. However, none of these methods will be as ideal as going directly into the stud. They also could have made secondary mounts lower down which would allow it to hold nearly double the weight. If you don't load this up much and it simply holds one big towel and 2 or 3 small stacks of face towels, you'll be fine. I just like things strong and safe. It is made small on purpose so as not to overload it, which is a good thing, but I honestly don't see it as a good value. Looks fine and mounts easy; no instructions but you don't need them; just level, measure, mark, and tighten.

This isn’t my first purchase from BWE and the BWE 16 in. Bathroom Towel Rack with 2 Towel Bars Wall Mount Holder in Matte Black doesn’t disappoint. Made from premium quality stainless steel that resists corrosion and rust, BWE products are easy to install and come complete with mounting anchors and screws and arrived protected in a soft cloth bag in the box. You will need to measure between the two ends, mark the holes first, and check with a level to ensure evenness. I love the idea of the combination of a shelf and towel bar in one, who can’t use additional space to store towels or for display. The towel bar shelf is versatile and will also go with a variety of decors, I am pleased with my choice.

The towel rack arrived nicely packaged in a soft cloth bag in the box and a small pack of wall mounting hardware (5 screws, 5 drywall anchors and hex key). Unfortunately, there were no instructions, but hanging a towel rack is pretty easy, just make sure you have a level! The hardware is decent quality but I may upgrade it if the rack starts to pull away from the wall, but it seems to be good for now! The towel rack itself is good quality and the matte black paint was nice and clean with no defects. I have been looking for something for above our toilet for some extra storage, since our bathroom is on the smaller side, so this is a very nice addition to our bathroom.

Overall I like this product. However I didn’t like how it did not come with instructions. So if you plan on purchasing this make sure ahead of time you or someone you know already knows how to install it. I also noticed in the product details that it weighs 21 pounds. That is false I put it on my scale at home and it didn’t even register, so it is very light. I would also like to note if you have a smaller bathroom like I do then this product might not be the best option. I’ve already had one of the kids run into 3 times. It does stick out pretty far. There is plenty of space to hang two towels at once. The color is fantastic as well overall I’m satisfied.

BATHROOM TOWEL RACK WITH 2 TOWEL BARS WALL MOUNT HOLDER IN MATTE BLACK, I Chose this towel rack because I wanted to have some kind of towel rack in our laundry room and this one is perfect for the job, it’s the right size and color, easy to install, comes with all the mounting hardware and easy to follow installation instructions, this towel rack is durable and well-constructed, as well as a nice matte black finish, corrosion and rust resistant, and it looks great in our laundry room.
