8 in. Waterfall 2-Handle Bathroom Widespread Sink Faucet With Pop-up Drain Assembly in Spot Resist Polished Chrome

First of all, I like the design, it has the widespread handles, the waterfall look, the pop up drain assembly for a complete project. The oil rubbed bronze gives it a classic look. The bathroom I have it installed in is a half-bath (toilet and sink). It is serves as a guest bathroom, too. So, it’s nice to have something very nice looking to impress the guests. Most of the bath accessories (towel ring, towel bar, etc.) are matte black. While, the walls are white, and the flooring is light brown walnut looking vinyl floor. Meaning, I’m keeping it somewhat classy. This is a good match. Installation was easy, I had my son perform most of the work and I did a cursory check for leaks and tightness. So far, I like it.

This is a really elegant looking bathroom faucet that was a great update for our bathroom. The waterfall style faucet works really well and the spout is designed so that the water doesn’t splash everywhere, even with the faucets fully open. The brushed nickel finish looks very high end and the design is a thoughtful mix of modern and classic. The finish is very easy to clean with a damp cloth. I followed the instructions and ended up with an installation where the faucet handles were in the off position when they were pointing forwards, when I actually wanted them to switch off when they are at 90 degrees from the center spout. This meant that I had to remove each faucet and switch them over which was inconvenient when working under the bathroom vanity cabinet. In our case, we have an older acrylic molded vanity top/sink bowl which had faucets that were 4” apart. In order to make it fit, I used a 1 ¼” hole saw to move each of the existing faucet holes about ¼” - 3/8” further apart and this worked perfectly. Everything you need to install the faucets, including color coded hot/cold braided supply lines are included and the instructions are reasonably easy to follow. The only item I had to buy was a pair of ½” to 3/8” reducers to go on each angle stop since the hoses are the narrower 3/8” design. The faucets are supplied with a matching sink drain pop up which is shipped separately. Unfortunately, our sink doesn’t have a separate overflow hole and the manufacturer doesn’t recommend using the pop up for this type of installation. Consequently, we left the existing drain in place. There is a hole in the rear of the center spout that seems to be designed for a plunger-style sink drain lever however there is no plunger available. It seems that it would be a good idea to supply a blanking plug for this hole as it looks a little incomplete otherwise. The other maintenance question I have is how to keep the mesh screen in the center faucet clear of debris. The manufacturer recommends flushing the water lines before connecting them up (which I did) however if you live in an area where there is hard water or you use well water, it is possible that scale will build up on the screen over time and I haven’t figured out how to clean this off since the screen doesn’t seem to be removable. The faucet is made in China and comes with a 1 year non-transferable warranty from the manufacturer.

The BWE 8 in. Waterfall 2-Handle Bathroom Widespread Sink Faucet With Pop-up Drain Assembly in Spot Resist Oil Rubbed Bronze was a quick install and the perfect size for our bathroom. The bronze is a nice finish and a pleasant color. It came with all the hardware needed for installation. I love the pop up drain feature as well. I would definitely recommend this fixture.

Strangely, the pop-up drain for this fixture was delivered separately. Very nice looking fixture, ornate and classic, solid and substantial. The finish is excellent. I've owned a similar waterfall type faucet, and one of the things you have to watch out for is loose debris in your plumbing system clogging the cartridges up. The instructions for this fixture even mention clearing your water lines before you install it. So that's thoughtful on their part. These waterfall type spouts don't have a lot of pressure to start with, so any clog in the lines, you will really notice & need to clean out. The unneeded hole for the pop-up control should be addressed, as another reviewer noted. Other than that, I don't see anything to dislike about this fixture. Very nice. For test purposes, I displayed this on a 4-in center set vanity top I had available (see pics).

Cold water won't turn off

Bought 4, one valve LEAKED and had to return. With the new pop up drain the hole for a manual drain in the faucet is still there. Looks like a mistake. Should at least have a decorative plug if not removing the hole altogether .
