Hello, The side that faces outside the window is white. The side in the house is white dove, which is close to white but just slightly darker.
How do these go up and down
Hello, the shades are raised and lowered using the handles on the middle or bottom rail. You simply pull the rail to the desired height. The lift modules control the string tension so all you do is pull the rail to position.

The description says light filtering and privacy. Is that only during the day? Do these also give privacy when the lights are on in the evening? If not, do any of these type of shades? Thank you!
The light-filtering fabric are not see-through when it is dark outside, although shadows may cast a silhouette on the shades. We do offer Blackout fabric options, which are completely opaque.
Can the shade be rolled all the way down if desired?
Hello, yes, the shade can be pulled down the entire length of 72 inches. The fabric and middle rail stacks on top of the bottom rail.
Is the 37.5” width finished width or is there an allowance for inside fit?
