                  Very Durable cabinet paint.
this is a very durable and fast drying paint with excellent adhesion characteristics. The fast drying can either work for you or against you. Don’t expect it to be a long open time that allows you to do lots of brushing and smoothing. This paint is best and really should only be applied with a sprayer. Used with a bonding primer such as STIX or the bear bonding primer this makes an incredibly durable coating. This is PPG’s answer to the legendary Benjamin Moore “Command” paint and while not as durable for Sure it is significantly less money. Command Has such high adhesion you could literally get away with no primer but to get the best out of Break-Through you really need to use a high adhesion primer. Unfortunately, I see lots of reviews and it’s very obvious to someone with experience as to where they went wrong. Bottom line do not try to apply this with a brush if you want a really smooth finish because of the fast dry time and if you’re buying it for the e Frustrating let me know when you’re ready to goxtreme durability, be sure to use a high bonding primer and not any old primer.

                    horrible paint
I bought this for painting new pre-primed baseboards. The stuff spreads horribly with lumps and non-uniform thickness. Its difficult to brush it smooth since it seems to dry so fast that it gets rough when you brush over it. Then after it dried, I had craze cracks on the baseboards and had to sand them out and repaint. Total waste of time and money. I have always used an oil based urethane paint for baseboards but wanted to try a water based one that would dry faster. This was a poor choice. I may just try and return this horrible paint,

                        Worst paint ever
This one of the hardest paint I’ve ever had to work with. Used every sort of roller, velour, foam, flocked foam. Still got lap marks and splotches. Even tried going over with another coat and still get lap marks every where. Tried and tried. Too late. I’ll just have to live with terrible results. For the price you pay you’d think it be a better product. Don’t buy this junk. I hate how it turned out. I regret buying this paint.

Great cabinet paint, dries fast! I used a sprayer to apply and thinned using water. I’ve used other cabinet paints including the expensive sherwin enamel and this is equivalent in quality for half the price. This will be my new go to.

Dries fast, super hard finish, nice look, water clean up and almost no odor. I have tried them all for kitchen cabinets and this is the best hands down. Be sure to get the surface very clean and rinse well. No primer needed over solid clean finishes. Use BIN first if you have bleeding stains.

                          Great for bathroom vanity
Repaired a solid wood vanity. I did sand to remove the gloss, used two coats of primer and two coats of paint. The result was a nice smooth finish.

                            New formula leaves chalky scratches.
I used the old formula for refinishing furniture and doors and it was great. The new formula even when the paint is cured leaves scuff marks very easily. With just a light scratch of a nail if leaves a lighter color scratch like chalk paint scratches. Very disappointed, tryed clearcoating it with their clear version of the paint and the same thing happened where when it is lightly scratched it leaves a white line. This paint cannot be used on cabinets like it is advertised.

                              Junk would never buy again
Employee swore by this paint and said it would chip or peel and could even scrape it and it would hold up. I followed directions on prep and did 2 coats and allowed full 7 days to fully cure. I then went to vacuum with a plastic vacuum tool and paint started peeling right off. Would never buy this paint again
