Our airpots have a seal but we do not consider them leak proof.
How long doesn’t stay hot for??
If you preheat the Airpot with hot water or a small brew of just water you can expect temps to hold steady for 2-4 hours with a 2-4 degree drop per hour.
what is a brew through lid
open the lid and place this under your maker instead o9f your coffee pot.
it is where you open the lid of the carrif and the coffee goes into it directly instead of in the pot and having to pour it into carrif.
Hello. A "brew through lid" would be a covering (lid) on server that would have either a fixed or closable slot or aperture through which brewed product could enter from the brew device into the server (in the case for BUNN the server would be for coffee or tea). While the Airpot referenced in this question does have a lid that can be opened and tilted back so that the brew can be sent directly into the airpot, that is typically not considered to be "brew through" in the strictest sense. this product says it has a stainless steel lining but I think it may be a stainless steel wall and a glass caraffe interior is that correct
