This mantel is compatible with 50" Flatscreen TVs up to 66 lbs.
Is there sn opening in the back of the top shelf to plug in electronics such as a cable box or DVD player?
Yes, the top shelf does have an opening at the back for cords.
After placing fireplace insert into mantel how do you attach or anchor insert into mantel?
The fireplace insert comes with trim pieces that should be mounted to the insert before it is placed into the mantel from the rear. This trim will then be connected to the inside of the mantel cabinet. Additional instructs can be found on page 11 of the insert's manual.
WHAT SIZE ROOM WILL THIS HEAT
It can heat 210 sq. ft. of room.
We have a 1000 sq ft airbnb and it heats up the area (which is about 500-600 sq ft) really well.
Is the insert interchangeable...I prefer the crystal glass.
There is also the CAM5021-1CHRLED LED insert option along with the CAM5021-1CHRLG2 which is the enhanced log insert.
