Does it mount on cedar siding
Hi Frank! You can certainly use our Mason Industrial Modern 1-Light Indoor/Outdoor Wall Mount 8 in. Light on cedar siding. However, you may need to take extra steps to seal the mounting if the siding is more of a shaker style and has uneven areas. ~Design House Team
Can we use a 75 or 100 watt lightbulb in this fixture?
The bulb recommendation is one 60-watt standard size E26 medium base bulb or LED equivalent.

How will this light hold up in the Chicago snowy/windy/wet winters???
No. I have mine at my house in Florida and thr ones that are covered on the patios are good, but the ones that are not covered have lost the copper coating and are now silver.
Noticed printing on underside (white part) of the fixture. Is this stamped on or is it on clear plastic that can be peeled off?

Is it motion activated?

The description states that unit requires one(1) 60 watt incandescent bulb. You cannot really buy that type of bulb anymore………can an LED type bulb be used?
