Hi Chase! Thanks for your question. The ECHO 2-stroke engines require a 50:1 fuel/oil ratio; 1 gallon to 2.6 US fl. oz. of oil. The fuel requirements are 89 through 93 octane. The oil is required to have an FD rating.

ECHO does not do testing for horsepower ratings because there is no standard between companies or regulations on accuracy of the information that the companies provide. However, the EPA does do testing on all manufacturers for horsepower, torque and emissions. The results of the EPA testing can be found on the EPA website.
