I installed one of these locks 2 years at a cabin and haven’t been there since. I have lost the keys. I understand there’s a number on the key, but is there a number on the lock that is visible indicating the correct key number?
I have not received my item. I've even gone to the store and try to have it canceled and that has not happened.
The Everbilt 3-1/2 in. Stainless Steel Key Locking Hasp has the number on the back of the physical hasp so you would need to uninstall the product to find the key number. If you need a replacement key, please contact Customer Care to make the request at 800-466-3337.

I have taken my key to 4 different lock smiths and each one said they had no such key and didn't know where to get one. I'm assuming that since Home Depot sells this product, they should have the keys or know where to get them????? So Home Depot, what are your customers supposed to do?

Well, once I worked my way through the maze of pressing numbers on my phone to get to customer care, the man who took my call searched very hard and long and was very professional but could not locate a contact number for Everbilt (a Chinese company). So if you think you might need an extra key, don't buy this brand.
Can you spray some WD-40 or the like to help lubricate the locking mechanism?
we recommend using a graphite dry lubricant.
You can spray with WD40 but it won’t do much good as the quality of the tumbler is horrible. Best of luck.

The key locking hasps cannot be rekeyed to a single key. The likelihood of getting 5 hasps with the same key number is slim due to there being 50 different key codes.
I need quite a few (10) of these and was wondering can they all be keyed the same?

Can Home Depot order key blanks for me for this lock?? HD really should have blanks in stock for the locks they sell.

Can these locks be purchased in keyed alike pairs ?
Do to the number of key combinations available, it would be difficult to get 2 locking hasps keyed alike.
Find two with the same key number. The key number is on the key. The bos I purchased from had 5 with the same number and 2 the same with a different number... feel lucky?
