Considering getting this composter. Have had a tumbler, but the material inside has not degraded fully even after 2 years. I live in Colorado, 6700 ft elevation. Will the Exaco work here? How does the aerator work? How does it spin?

Is there a minimum outdoor temperature your compost bins can tolerate? Live in USA, N MN, zone 3. Can we use outdoors and continue to feed it during our winters? Then extract compost in spring when our climate/soil is warm enough to plant?
The Aerobin is an insulated 2" thick walls composter - if it is hot going into the winter it generally will keep going. The problem is adding new stuff on a regular basis - the more you open it the colder it will get.
