The newly developed curb mounted fixed skylight incorporates simple installation, long trouble-free use and the beauty of a modern design. Following world design trends of electronic devices, Fakro has developed curb mounted skylight with completely (smartphone like) flat surface, allowing installation on any type of roofs in any direction you wish. Bringing natural light into a home through a skylight decreases the need for electricity while maintaining privacy.

Does this come with curb flashing kit ?
The flashing kit is not included. For the roof pitch between 0-15 degrees flashing is not required. For roof pitch between 15-60 degrees we recommend EL-C flashing for shingles or EH-C flashing for roof tiles, corrugated metal roof or standing seam. can one see clearly through the glass
The FXC skylight has tinted glass so from the outside you would have to be very close in order to see through the glass. From the inside you can see clearly through the glass.
1. Will this fit over an existing frame with outside dimensions 50 1/2" square?
Unfortunately 50 1/2" will be too big, we specify outside curb dimensions of 49 1/2". The maximum this skylights can be installed on would be 49 3/4" outside curb dimensions. If you have any more questions please contact me directly at service@fakrousa.com
