My door opening (with tile and grout) is 73 1/8. Can you please recommend if I should get 73 x 78 inch or should i order that exact size directly?

Please note that before ordering your GW shower enclosure it is essential your shower is tiled as your measurements will change once tiling and grout are in place. GW offers a unique modular system that is as close to a custom fit shower as possible without the high prices, this is why it is essential to only order once tiling is complete. If your enclosure is tiled and your minimum tile to tile width measurement is 73.125” then you would order the 73" model. The rule when ordering a GW dual panel system is to not order anything above your minimum tile to tile width opening. If you order anything above your minimum width measurement the shower will not fit. Is there a support bar on the stationary panel?
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The 45° shower rod that we have is not typically used for this model, however some customers have requested to purchase these additionally. This item does not provide any further security in the panel, it does however help prevent ‘flex’ in the panel. The stability and security of this model is in the siliconing step of the panel which is essential. If the installation guide has been followed precisely you will not have any issue with the stability and integrity of your glass enclosure. Please note that our panels will have a slight green hue. I know this door is reversible as to which side it goes on. But can we choose if it is an in swing our outswing, or does it just always do both directions?

The hinges do allow for the door to swing inwards and outwards, but the ILLUME/STELLAR model will come with a sweep that will affix to the outer edge of the fixed panel. This sweep will allow for the door to swing either in or out of the enclosure, depending on which way it is installed. It will not allow for the door to swing in both directions; however, you can choose not to install this piece and therefore the door will be operational in both directions. I’m ordering a Illume 76.25 in. W x 78 in. H Wall Hinged Frameless Shower Door in Brushed Nickel Finish with Clear Glass. My question is can I make sure the walk in door is 30” wide?

The sizes of the door and stationary panels will vary depending on what stock is available the time of receiving your order. Typically for the 76.25" size model we would send a door (walk through) between 26.75" - 27.75" with a fixed or hinged panels (stationary) to suit between 48" to 49". The remaining 1/2" allocated to hardware. Our door sizes range from 24" to 30", in 1/4” increments. All GW glass panels are for this model, are clear Premium 3/8” (10mm) thick ANSI certified tempered safety glass that is is treated on both sides with EnduroShield®. Therefore this allows for our clear GW models to be fully reversible making it possible for a left or right installation.
