I really like how easy this light was to install, the mounting bracket was straight forward, easy to follow directions, and not to heavy while your connecting the wires. The finish is really nice and it is easy to assemble, I installed 60w led soft lights and they gave it a good color and brightness. Overall very happy with this item and recommend it.

This was one of the easiest light fixtures I have ever installed and I love its appearance! The fixture is shipped in a heavy cardboard box with molded Styrofoam to protect all the pieces. To install you simply have to feed the 3 power lines through the rod, screwing the rod to the socket assembly. Guide the same lines through the top of the canopy. Next, open the three arms evenly (120 degrees apart) across the "circle." Then screw each arm to the cage with the provided bolts (2 per arm). I was lucky in that my installation location already had a crossbar mounting plate. What I appreciate is that Hampton Bay takes the time to pre-screw in the bolts used to affix the mounting plate to the cross bar. These bolts point downward from the mounting plate and the fixture is mounted using two provided mounting balls. What I have found to be true of Hampton Bay light fixtures which use this method, they always seem to have those bolts at just the right depth to perfectly screw in the mounting balls without having to adjust them (remember, they point down which makes them difficult to adjust once you have bolted in the mounting plate to the electrical box). So, this is appreciated as getting the depth just right is not fun, and Hampton Bay takes the time to do this right for us. Great attention to detail in my opinion. Once you make the electrical connections you mount the whole fixture using the above mentioned mounting bolts. The fixture accepts two 60W bulbs with a medium base (E26). You can also use 9W LED bulbs. I think it looks great. It is well constructed and best of all for my application as my ceilings are not super high, it is semi-flush mount, meaning it mounts closely to the ceiling.

We’re not ready for install yet, other necessary work is still being done on this project. The light came well packaged to prevent damage during shipment. The assembly of pieces is straight-forward with two threaded screws to attach the hanger to the light frame, see the pics. There is an enclosed adapter plate to fit standard ceiling fixture box. The lamp assembly is by threaded pipe included and again standard fitting, bulbs are not included. The light fixture was well finished in the mat black and it is a nice sturdy unit.

this is quite lovely lighting fixture and quite beautiful. it is very well made as the parts all fit together well and the materials appear to be high quality. as to the design of the lighting fixture, it is a farmhouse style fixture but could be used in other decor as well. it could mix quite well with some other styles because it also has an industrial look to it.

Light fixture was easy to install, farmhouse style which fits my decor, uses 2 bulbs so there is plenty of light. I used 2 6W decorative Edison bulbs and they are perfect for the farmhouse look. Instructions were very clear, took about 10 minutes to install. It is very unique, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend buying this light fixture. I love it!

We absolutely love this light. We were looking for flush mount light, on the smaller side, for above a bar that were finishing off. We were also looking for one with a matte black finish to compliment the tile and the faucet on the bar. This one hit on every score. Excellent construction, very solid, simple, finish is outstanding - smooth and consistent. We like the fact that it doesn't have any glass (to clean). The fixture was surprisingly light and extremely east to in stall. Literally, we assembled and installed this light in less than half an hour. Our only design dilemma now is what bulbs to put in. We have some temp bulbs in there now (see pics). The bulbs are front and center in this fixture, so you have to get them right. Thankfully there are only two bulbs. Two enthusiastic thumbs up on this light.
