Home Depot and or the manufacturer really need to step quality control on boxing up these cheap cabinets. Every. Single. One. Is. Damaged. IKEA is much better pressboard and packaging.

Had 2 return it it was damaged

Easy installation. Cabinet is reversible by simply turning it over. They are light but sturdy.

It was delivered broken

Sorry, but these aren’t very good quality cabinets to put in my kitchen. They are made of particle board covered in white melamine on the outside and something less on the inside. This is 1/2” particle board, not HDF or even MDF. The shelves are 3/4” particle board. The 2 shelves are adjustable with pre drilled holes and held in place by 4 plastic shelf pegs. Since the back is particle board I didn’t trust that it would be strong enough to hold the cabinet up under much weight, so I rested the cabinet on a hardwood cleat then put 4 screws into the studs. I think it will work well with the cleat, but you wouldn’t want to do that in your kitchen. The hinges are European, but not soft close.

Really great, simple design but some pretty significant flaws. Mostly hardware related. The hinges seem to be on the low end, doors were not aligned but that is to be expected. Trouble came when I went to adjust, ultra soft metal that stripped first shot. Ended up having to use a Dremel to make a flat blade slot to adjust. Finally go the working and it seems like the holes were not properly aligned because I had to use maximum adjustment to even get it close, still not perfect. Hinge screws came pre-stripped in 2 of the 4 mounting points. Overall, at this price point, I would like to see better.

I needed more organized storage in my garage and thou go t this would be easier than building something myself. The cabinet comes completely assembled and can be installed either right or left opening. There are predrilled holes in the sides for shelf height adjustment if the two provided shelves. The door hinges are hidden but only open to 90 degrees making the opening less accessible than I would prefer. Overall it is a solid cabinet that you can get into place quickly. Time will tell if it stands up to use in the garage.

This review is for a very handy Hampton Bay Westfield White Assembled Wall Cabinet that we used to go above a washer and dryer, and so very happy with this cabinet. But this style would also look amazing in a kitchen too. We have owned this Cabinet for (4) Days, came packed very good, was worried about the shipping but did not need to be. This cabinet will work wonders any where you choose to install it, such as a Kitchen, Laundry Room, Bathroom, or anywhere you need additional storage, and even in your closet if your lacking for space. The Hampton Bay shaker-style cabinet is square and solidly made. A nice layer of plastic film is placed over the doors to keep them from being marred while in transit and during installation. The cabinet comes with two shelves and the brackets to secure them in the five pre-drilled positions. It had an excellent finish overall. By means of a French cleat, that I made and attached to the back of the cabinet, I was able to hang it by myself. (I removed the doors to make it a bit lighter.) This is close to the twentieth Hampton Bay cabinet I’ve installed, with no problems encountered. These products are an affordable alternative to custom cabinets, whether your need is new construction or a remodel. And for peace of mind, it comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
