                I have issues with the button also. Very cheaply made compared to the chime unit. I will be returning mine.

                  Hi TIFFIFFANY, You will just need to Press and hold the “Sync/Music” button on the doorbell until the doorbell sounds a “Beep-Beep”. Then Press the push button within 30 seconds. The doorbell will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone to indicated the push button is synced. Press the push button to ensure operation.

                    The 'spring' inside the button assembly is actually a coiled antenna that transmits the unit's signal. The preprinted circuit board may indicate it should be oriented on a diagonal, but being straight upward works fine (if not better!), too.

                      I purchased two wireless door bells at the same time; one smaller for the back door and a larger more flexible unit for the front door. The rear door does not have many options but this front door unit is beyond great. It has built in tones for convenience; however, you can download your favorites for unique ringtones. In addition it has a mute button if “do not disturb” is needed but the illumination still flashes to get your attention. It is a very nice unit and one I believe will satisfy every desire.

                      This Hampton Bay wireless Illuminated Battery Doorbell Kit has come in so handy because I can move the ringer to which ever part of the house, I happen to be in. I work downstairs a lot and when someone comes to the door nearest the stairs to pick up orders, the doorbell at that door rings in my father’s part of the house. Now I have one that can ring downstairs. We just put tags on each pushbutton with my shop name on this one and my 95-year-old dad’s name on the one that rings in his part. I don’t have to permanently place the ringer anywhere. This way if I’m expecting a customer to come pick up something and I’m not going to be in the shop, I can just take the ringer to the part of the house I’m going to be in. It has 10 selectable tunes (Westminster, short Westminster, Huntington, relax triplet, shorty, birthday celebration, we wish you a merry Christmas, Laud Lang Dyne, Beethoven's fifth, Ding-Dong) that I can pick so it’s not the same as any of the other doorbells in the house. For fun, it will flash one of seven selectable LED colors (dark green, light green, dark blue, light blue, red, purple, teal). It’s powered by three C batteries and is compatible with all other Hampton Bay wireless push buttons, doorbells and alerts. It has volume control and a Mute timer for 3, 6, 9, and12-hours and permanent mute.

                      We picked up this Hampton Bay door bell kit to replace the original unit that stopped working in our home. So far we really like it. This doorbell was very easy to install and has lots of features for a door bell. The directions are very easy to follow. Simply install the batteries. Mount the button outside and pick a location in your home to mount the bell. You can change the volume and color on the bell and even download additional bells. Great product!

                      This is a cute little doorbell gadget by Hampton Bay. In a multi level house where you don't always hear your doorbell, this comes in handy nicely in that you can just pick up and move the bell box to any room and you won't have to worry about missing those signature deliveries while taking a shower anymore! I don't care much for the C battery requirement however.

                      This is a nice door bell especially if your place isn’t wired for a doorbell. The range is 300 ft. between the button, and the receiver, and the neat thing about is you can place the receiver wherever your at just in case you’re in a room where you might not hear it go off, or you can place it on a hook in a centralized area to hear it. It takes 3 C batteries to power the receiver and 1 23A battery in the push button. It has 7 light color options when activated and several tunes including downloadable tunes. And another nice thing is the push button can be mounted with either two-way tape or screws. (Provided)

                      Nice doorbell with a lot of features. I'm giving this doorbell an Average rating as I had problems trying to get the base unit to sync with the wireless push button and with the dip switches on the button which necessitated a telephone call to the company to figure things out but the base unit was very easy to install. The flashing LED lights, I think, would be very helpful for someone who might have a hearing issue and there are several different colors to choose from, however, the volume is adjustable and it can get quite loud depending on where you set the volume. I like that you can pick from different tunes for a change of pace (Westminister, Ding-Dong, Merry Christmas, etc.) and it also comes with a USB cable to be able to download tunes from your computer if you wish.

                      We chose the Hampton Bay Wireless battery door bell kit for our home. It has lots of features, such as volume control, muting capabilities, and a great choice of colors to use for the alerts. You can put this anywhere in your house and it is run on only 3 batteries. It only took about 10 minutes to install, which 5 minutes was choosing where to put it. This is super great with anyone who has hard hearing or the doorbell cannot be heard in different parts of the house. This will always let you know when someone is at your door.

                      This Hampton Bay LED wireless color changing door bell is the real deal and it looks like it is made very well and should last for quite a while. First of all it doesn't get any easier as far as installation goes, all you have to do is install 3 c size batterie in the unit that the sound comes from and remove the front of the ringer button and remove the tape and you are good to go. The ringer part can be installed with 2 sided tape that is included or with screws and the other unit can be attached to wall with the included screws or you can just set the unit on a table or book case and you are all set. The bell has a volume control as well as different selections for the tune of the bell and also has a volume control as well as different colors that you can select. If you want a door bell this is the one and anyone can install it so do yourself a favor head on down to the Home Depot and pick one up for yourself you will be glad that you did.

                      This is a great doorbell with different options for sounds, volume and lights. It runs on 3 C batteries, not included. The push button runs on an A23 battery, which is included. You can install the pushbutton with screws or double sided tape(both included) and you're ready to go. The doorbell features several different chimes or tunes. They sound a little "tinny" but they're very easy to hear. You can also download mp3's from your computer with the included USB cable. The volume is easy to adjust from fairly soft to pretty loud. The unit also has a light that flashes when it's activated. There are seven different colors to choose from. You can also silence the chime and only use the light. It can be silenced full time or your choice of 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours.

                      We have been looking for a wireless doorbell for quite a while and we found this one. It did come yesterday and it was packaged very well and it had no damage. We will put it up today. We have read the directions and there is nothing to it. Load in batteries and put up on wall with screws, super easy. The bell is nice and loud but not so loud it hurts! Great product.
