HOMEWERKS 24 in. W x 30 in. H Rectangular Frameless LED Light Wall - a Home Depot Seeds Program Review Though I suspect a bathroom is the expected placement, I got this HOMEWERKS 24 in. W x 30 in. H Rectangular Frameless LED Light Wall to mount in an ill-lit entryway to my house. The front door is a dark brown and there isn’t much light in that area when the door is closed. I think this LED Light Wall might work as soon as I figure out a way to permanently mount it securely. The lack of a physical bezel makes it frameless but it has a 1.25 inch embedded LED light around the entire unit. There are also two embedded and projected “buttons” on the mirror for power and bluetooth connectivity. There’s also an anti-fog technology which I wasn’t able to try. It’s a very clean, modern looking unit. The lighted edge has two “colors”, 3000K soft white and 5000K daylight. Pushing the power button – actually an embedded and projected on the mirror front – activates the light. Pressing a second time changes the color. Pressing a third time turns the light back off. While the light is on, pressing and holding the button dims the light. At the brightest setting (600 lumens) the light are not so intense as to be uncomfortable and with it being on the edges it’s not directly in your eyes. If connected to your house wiring and a light switch, the light color and intensity settings are retained so you don’t have to set it each time. The other projected button activates bluetooth. Seriously? I suppose there are people who take their phones into the bathroom with them to listen to music or talk to someone on the phone. I’m not one of them. Maybe it could talk to my bluetooth enabled toothbrush which also gets zero use from me. I did try playing music through my phone and it does work but the sound from the speaker is pretty poor. For me, the bluetooth capability is a wasted function. YMMV. The HOMEWERKS 24 in. W x 30 in. H Rectangular Frameless LED Light Wall is an interesting product. While probably designed for bathroom use, especially with its anti-fog technology. The two light colors (3000K and 5000K) are good and the 600 lumens output is sufficient. The bluetooth capability is a feature I won’t use but some may find it compelling. The poorly lit entryway area where I put it is reasonably well handled with this mirror and it lets me check my attire before leaving the house. If I find it’s not working I’m certain I’ll find some place in the house to use it.

I had to reinforce the mounting area because the studs didn’t line up. I was concerned because of the weight (it’s pretty heavy). The Bluetooth connection works good amd the speakers are fairly loud enough for a running shower but get a little tinny at the max. The light color temp has three settings and they don’t make a huge difference when looking in the mirror and the brightness is not enough to not have other lights on in the bathroom when in there. I was hoping to remove the vanity lights but it’s too dark with just this mirror.

We really like the way this mirror lights up the guest bathroom that we are finishing. The LED perimeter lighting projects forward to illuminate the person standing in front of the mirroe, and backwards to create a "halo glow" on the wall. The llight color can be toggled between cool and warm teperature, as well as dimming/brightening the LED intensity. When hard wired, only the switch on the mirror will control dimming; a dimmer switch will not work the dimmer function. When switched on, the same light color and intensity will return as when it was shut off. The bluetooth function works fine, but must be reset every time the mirror is powered on. Packaging was EXCELLENT (very protective). Comes with good instructions and mounting hardware. Straightforward installation for an experienced DIY'er. (Note: Hard wiring is not complete in photos). Pros: Packaging, Instructions, Appearance, Quality Cons: Mirror face stands out a couple inches from the wall, dimmer wall switch wont control dimming, bluetooth must be re-established each time power is turned off. HOMEWERKS 30 in. W x 36 in. H Large Rectangular Frameless LED Light wall Bathroom Vanity Mirror with LED Lit Frame, Silver/White is a cool idea with a great art mixed together. The mirror is heavy, of course, but is packed with punch. I love the mirror, the quality it exhumes and the quality of sound it produces. Don't compare it with bose, but good enough for me.

Although the bathroom will not be ready to receive the mirror for another month, I can see that the installation will be easy. The mirror frame hangs on a “Z-bar” attached to the wall with three stainless steel screws inserted into plastic drywall inserts. I recommend that you discard the small inserts that come with the mirror and use the screw-in type of plastic drywall inserts. It will be necessary for me to relocate the junction box for the existing light to a location behind the mirror. I hooked up temporary power to test the light switching and dimming functions as well as the Bluetooth pairing and sound quality. I was pleasantly surprised how intuitively the controls work. There are two lighted buttons in the lower right corner of the mirror if the unit is mounted vertically. (If mounted horizontally, the buttons will be in the lower left corner.) Although I called them “buttons,” they are actually round lighted areas on the mirror, one controls the light and the other controls the Bluetooth functionality. The mirror is heated to prevent fogging whenever the light is on. There are speaker grilles on both sides (when mounted vertically) that appear to each contain two 2-inch diameter speakers. Music and podcasts play well and if the source of the music is a cell phone, calls can be answered and played through the mirror’s speakers. You can also mute the sound by touching the Bluetooth button.>>>>>>> The mirror unit is 29-5/8” X 23-5/8” X 7/16” thick and attached to a box made from satin anodized aluminum extrusions with a galvanized sheet-metal back. The aluminum box is 26-5/8” X 20-1/2” X 2-3/8” deep. The total wall projection is 2-13/16” and the mirror weighs 19.8 pounds. The instructions are good and state that the installation should take 30 minutes, which seems reasonable. The last step of the instructions is to slide the mirror about ½-inch either right or left to engage the slotted clip at the bottom of the mirror to keep the mirror against the wall. Be sure to allow for this “offset if you are trying to precisely center the mirror, say over the center of a sink.>>>>>>>The mirror is a product of China.

What a crazy-cool mirror! Such amazing technology. We are in the middle of a bathroom remodel, and a friend of mine (who is a contractor) recommend installing a mirror like this. The lighting is built-in around the outer edge of the mirror and when powered on, illuminates directly on you when looking at it. It also has built-in Bluetooth with speakers! There are two illuminated touch-sensor control buttons on the mirror surface in the lower corner. One controls the lighting - which you can choose either a cool white or warm light hue and also control dimming. The other is a "pairing" button for the Bluetooth. It took a few tries to get the Bluetooth to pair with my iPhone, but once the connection was established, it worked very well with no audio drop outs. Note that this mirror has a cord on the back and gets hardwired to a power source (black, white, and green[ground] wires). There is no 'plug' to plug it in to a wall socket. If you're not familiar with standard home wiring, I'd recommend having an electrician or someone knowledgeable install it for you. Installation and operating instructions are included and straight-forward however, and mounting hardware (Z-bar, screws[4], drywall anchors[4] and wire nuts [3]) is included as well. The mirror can either be mounted vertically or horizontally. Your choice. The on/off response time of the lighting is instant. Overall, the mirror looks exceptional and modern. I'm super happy with it. For those interested, the box dimensions are 41"W x 35"L x 6"D. Note as well that after the mirror is mounted, the mirror section (which is 1/2" thick) sits about 3" from the wall since there is a chassis on the back of the mirror that houses the lighting, electronics, and Bluetooth speakers. The Bluetooth feature is fun and convenient and the music playback is "stereo," BTW - (speakers on the left and right sides). There is also an anti-fog feature which seems to be working great so far. If you're looking for great mirror to modernize your bathroom space, I would highly recommend one (or two) of these. Great job Homeworks! Awesome product!!

Might be the best thing we've bought for our home. This LED lighted mirror by HOMEWERKS has it all. Easy installation paired with great clarity, lighting, and sound. First off, the mirror – It is crystal clear, might be the most defined mirror in our house. The lighting comes in two separate temperatures, a warmer and more white tone. Easy to dim and readjust – you just hold a finger to the touch-button on the glass (Which doesn't get too many fingerprints). The lighting comes from the front and the back. The sound is delivered from on-par speakers, making it lough enough to hear in the shower, but I wouldn't say its high-def sound. And we have installed ours on a switch so it comes on with all the other lights in the bathroom. End the end, we LOVE it. Zero complaints.

H Large Rectangular Frameless LED Light wall Bathroom Vanity Mirror with LED Lit Frame, Silver/White We wanted a larger mirror to help brighten a room, and this Homewerks unit integrating dimmable LED illumination seemed like a sure bet. Our only worry was it being damaged in long distance shipping and us having to then ship it back. Well, it arrived in perfect shape due to the very high level of internal packaging using custom molded blocks of closed cell foam (see 1st photo) and bubble wrap. The mirror glass is further protected with an easy peel sheet of clear plastic (see 2nd photo). They include a 22-inch long z-bar (see 3rd photo) for wall mounting in either portrait or landscape orientation. Z-bars are great for such heavy object hanging because they are both strong and help ensure a perfectly level result if you follow the directions and level the z-bar with a bubble level. The 4th photo shows the 3-wire electric wiring harness at the back of the mirror that can easily be hard-wired to an outlet box, or you can attach a 3-prong plug and plug it into the nearest outlet. This is an attractive mirror/light unit, but our only issue is the mirror section edges, at about ½-inch thick, overhang the four sides of rear section by 1 ¾ inches. The rear section/metal box then stands 2 ¼ inches out from the wall. So the mirror literally forms a rim around the recessed edge of the metal box rear section.

I kind or prefer a vanity mirror that is also a medicine cabinet for storage usage. This unit appears to not have cabinet storage. However, the bluetooth speakers & backlighting make up for it in other ways (if that's what you like). The mirror quality is good. Unit is not too heavy or too cheesy light for it's price. I like the lighting colors that I can choose from.
