About This Product
This Kidde Pro 210 fire extinguisher (2-pack) is made for most common fires and is UL rated 1-A, 10-B:C. Hello. The extinguisher is UL listed and tested and the extinguisher is tested at the factory but the extinguisher does not come with an inspection tag already filled out. In some jurisdictions, based on state, county and city fire codes, some codes will allow businesses to keep from having to have the extinguisher inspected for one year based on the date receipt if you just bought the extinguisher. Some codes will allow businesses to keep from having to have the extinguisher inspected for one year based on the year of manufacturing found on the bottom of the extinguisher. Some codes want the extinguishers inspected right away no matter when the extinguisher was purchased or made. Contact your local authority requiring the fire extinguisher, usually your local fire marshal's office or local fire department, to find out what local code requires in your area.

At temperatures above 120 degrees, the fire extinguisher will still function, but the discharge time may be a little shorter than the 9 to 10 seconds required by Underwriters Laboratories UL. Proper fire extinguisher storage includes using the correct mounting brackets which keep the extinguisher in an upright position. Fire extinguishers can be kept in an automobile, RV, or trailer as long as temperatures do not fall outside of the range of -40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
