Loved it the first 4 years, disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Refrigerator is 4 yrs and 2 weeks old, the water tank that feeds the ice-maker broke. The refrigerator and freezer quit working, we unplugged, emptied the ice bin, cleaned out the refrigerator, and found strange pieces of plastic that didn't match any parts we could recognize, then plugged it back in, tried the water dispenser and noticed water coming from the refrigerator side, we took out the drawers (that we'd just put back in), and found that the white bulb-like dispenser at the back inside was broken, the color and thickness matched the broken parts we'd found. We are now trying to find that part to repair it ourselves but not sure where we can buy it. We are now waiting for the freezer to come back to temperature, We turned off the ice-maker but the water is still leaking a small amount. I'm so disappointed, we loved this fridge, have a lot of LG appliances in our home, and have convinced others to purchase them. We'll have to rethink brands on our next purchase.

Great looks only
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought my refrigerator 3 years ago and love how beautiful look in my kitchen. But after only three years it’s broken. The freezer it’s mainly the problem. I was thinking of fixing it but I don’t think it’s worth it tho.

Love the fact the ice and water dispensers are separated without touch to change between each other. Also, I like the fact that you can "knock" on the front of the refrigerator door to see what is inside before opening the door. Some downsides about the refrigerator is that it cannot hold a lot of tall things inside. The positioning of the shelves does not make room for a lot of tall items.
I only had the refrigerator for a month and had no problems.

So far very happy with the side by side refrigerator. Happy wife happy life! No issues with the delivery they were very professional and courteous. Only time will tell how the frig operates as it’s only been a few days.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in October 2019 and i love it. The door in door is a nice feature! “ knock knock who is there” is an extra bonus. I do not use often but only to chk the thermometer reading that i placed in the door compartment. I wish there is a capability to display current temperatures in the ref and freezer, not just the settings. It is quiet. there are marks of a tape that can’t be removed on the door. Any suggestions on how to clean it?

Edgy looking but after the novelty wore off in the first day I realized the basic side by side was MUCH more practical. After all, don't we all know where we put the things we always use without having to take a sneak peak? Also the shelves in the insta door don't adjust so those taller water bottles don't fit! Save your money and go for the basic tried but true side by side. Wish I had!

Beautiful, Spacious, Effective
I like the smaller door but was condemned about the temperature being maintained the same as the interior of the frig. I used my thermometer and found both areas the same temperature. I’ll keep monitoring it especially in warm weather to see if there’s any difference. It has tons of storage, side by side works best since I don’t have to move lots of stuff to find the thing I need at the bottom of a bottom freezer compartment.
If I had to come up with a negative, inside the main refer door, at the very bottom is a shelf which is hard to see and hard to get at. The shelf above just out so far it makes access to the lower shelf difficult.
This is an extremely minor issue and I am Very Pleased!
