We are having problems with material getting stuck inside the head near the flap that opens and closes which impacting performance Is this is a known issue and how can we easily clean it

Can I get replacement batteries? I've had this vacuum less than a year and both batteries won't hold charge for any longer than about 15 minutes, for about several months now.
