Can this fan be turned on and left to run all day without the timer?
I have done that but I prefer to put the timer on 7 hours and usually I'm home from anywhere by then and can reset it. The timer is one of the reasons I purchase this fan.
Hi Brad. Thank you for your question. I have this same fan but without the remote. I leave it on in my kitchen all day long and part of the night. I have noticed that after a few years I have had to lubricate the armature though. Keeping the intake area clean of dust and debris also helps. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Is the airflow direct or does it expand out to the sides somehow? I was looking for an oscillating table fan with remote but can't find one.

It does not oscillate. It is direct airflow.
It is direct, but the curved fins on the front spread the airflow out more than the usual stationary fan.
It is in one direction but it seems that the louvers cause it to spiral in between you and the fans' face causing a more turbulent air flow than normally had with horizontal louvered fans.

How do i get this fan apart to clean?
This fan is very easy to clean. There are screws around the fans. Unscrew and clean. Takes about 20 minutes. We found that if you use a screwdriver that is magnetized, it helps but it is not necessary.
Remove the screws
I've never taken it apart but a good brush wand for your flexible house vac hose will clean the motor and vents.
Hi KW. According to the manufacturer, the front portion of the fan is easily removable, but there are no diagrams showing how to do this. It looks like there maybe two anchor screws located on the right front portion of the fan, looking at the fan from the front, possibly accessed front the rear of the fan. It could also be two press to release type of connections on that side of the fan.
