There was a tear in the mattress topper from out of the box. I have allowed the topper to expand for about 4 hours and the tear is a decent little chunk of material missing. I found the missing piece to it. What is the policy on defective products?

a lot of people say that toppers can get hot or warm will this one do that?

Can this be rolled up? I am thinking of using it for our futon, so that when we have guests visiting they can sleep on a very comfortable bed... and then put it away when it's used as a couch.

Because of this, we recommend setting the mattress next to a window with sunlight or next to a heater. Second, we recommend walking over the mattress with clean feet as this will open up stuck memory foam pores. Third, if the bottom portion has fully expanded, we recommend using the mattress since body heat is another source for the memory foam to expand. It will not harm the mattress in any way. In fact, it may speed up the process! If, after about one week of opening and trying these things, you are still having a problem with expansion, let us know. We'll do our best to help you.
