MMI DOOR Interior Barn Doors are a stylish alternative to traditional hinged doors. Composed of high quality, medium density fiberboard, our beautifully crafted interior french doors add elegance and privacy while maintaining brightness from one room to the next. Our double barn door unit comes with two 78-3/4 in. tracks, two 80 in. mounting boards, 2 door slabs and track joiner. Assembly required and handle sets not included.

can you stain these doors
Since the door slabs are smooth surfaced MDF, stain would not adhere very well to them. You could stain them but we could not guarantee a quality finish. We recommend using an high quality interior grade latex paint for these doors.
Do the doors have some sort of seal that blocks some of the sound when closed?
The doors do not have any type of seal. There will be approximately 1.25" of space in between the wall and the door slab.
Exterior use
This door is not intended for outdoor exposure. The materials used in the door are not manufactured to withstand outdoor humidity or temperature change, even if the door is finished with exterior paint. Installing this door outdoors would void the warranty.
The holes in the bracket are not threaded so i can’t attach the bracket that holds the two tracks together the screws are not long enough to go through the bracket and the tracks so tiu coukd put a nut on the other side and the package did not come with nuts
What is the clearance between the wall and the door? We have a thick return air vent on one of the walls.

What does this mean? Each individual pane of glass contains a 1 in. stamp etched into the glass. note sure what the etched into the glass means? thanks
Each pane of glass in the doors has an etching from the glass manufacturer for tempering traceability. This is required by law and not something that we can remove.
I have a 60" opening with 35" of drywall to either side of the opening, can the track be cut down from 157.5" to fit into this space?
The track is not able to be cut down, it is pre-drilled for installation. Cutting it down would also void the warranty. Unfortunately we do not offer a shorter track either.
