This Milwaukee bucket tool apron is a nice design for anyone doing work in a boom lift. Nice design to hook onto the side of the bucket and many different compartments to hold tools that you need. 18 pockets, heat resistant against hot bits, puncture resistant materials, dedicated tool pockets, waterproof, and even magnets to keep tools in place. Whoever designed this really though it out and must have done their homework. Looks great too!

The Milwaukee Lineman’s Compact Aerial Tool Apron is specifically designed for use in a bucket lift. It’s made with a puncture-resistant, heavy-duty vinyl material, and includes an assortment of pockets that will accommodate large hand tools and power tools commonly used by exterior electricians and other contractors. The apron includes two eyelets for securing it to the bucket lift railing. The Milwaukee Tool Apron can also be used for project around the house, such as framing and building decks. This tool apron is a beast. I was actually surprised at the quality of it. Milwaukee always makes great tools and storage for your tools but I was wondering how this plastic apron would work. It’s got plenty of big pockets and they are shaped in a way where they stay open and don’t sag even on a hot day. My favorite thing is the quality and thought they put into it. And it even has hard shell plastic sleeves on the side for anything like a rebar or anything that can poke through. With that plastic it will protect it. It’s got some nice thick metal rings to hang it off of a basket or anywhere else I’m working when I don’t feel like carrying all my stuff on me. The hammer loop on the left side is really nice because it’s a long sleeve so it won’t swing around during movement. It’s got several ways to hang it if necessary like a sleeve that’s clear, the thick metal rings to put in some S hangers, or even some D rings. I really like the thought they put into that for different mounting ways. The quality of it is great. It’s got some really strong rivets in all the key areas. And the rivets go straight through the back and they are smooth so they don’t snag on anything. I’m not sure exactly what kind of plastic it’s made of but it almost looks like heavy duty vinyl material. But either way it’s super tough. We’ll see how it last in the heat but so far so good. Definitely recommend it to anybody that uses a bucket or does maintenance work in tall buildings. It has like a metal bar in the top part of it to keep it straight so It won’t curl up when there’s weight on the sides. Definitely a lot of thought put into it.

As with everything I’ve owned from Milwaukee this looks and feels like a high quality item. While I understand this was made for a linesman it is not what I will be using it for. Both my wife and I are woodworkers and often both have different projects going at the same time or working on a single huge project together. So work bench top space is valuable. Plus while working on a single project all day you may need the same tools over and over again. So to save the table top space and have a quick space to store a tool I know i will be needing over and over again, I have installed this to the side of my work bench. Pockets are spacious and lots of different sizes, So a power tool or a screwdriver both have a good place to temporarily be stored. We have found this apron very useful for that purpose.

Very well made apron. The vinyl is heavy duty. Stitching is impeccable. Rivets are quality. Has multiple buckles for attaching smaller bags, tool pouches, etc… Pouches are deep and stiff. Has dedicated augur holders which are solidly made and fit securely in their side patch. The eyelets are reinforced and heavy duty. Has a dedicated light pouch. The outer pockets also open wide enough that you can use both them and the inner pockets to fill effect without making tool extractions difficult. I cannot find a single thing to criticize other than I wish it was Made in USA (that’s just a personal preference). All in all a quality Milwaukee product that anyone needing a linesman’s apron will no doubt get their money’s worth out of. Got to love a lifetime warranty on a tool apron, and given the build quality, it’s a safe bet you’ll never need it. Easy 5 star recommendation. Milwaukee just continues to impress.

This is an awesome aerial tool apron. I do not do much aerial bucket work, however I do a lot of aerial ladder work. This vinyl apron will fit on the rungs of an extension ladder and has reinforced eyelets (grommets) and D rings to attach carabiners. It has 18 pockets. The lower ones are large enough to hold a stack of 4" junction boxes, cordless power tools or boxes of fasteners etc. Some pockets are magnetized to hold sockets in place. It has puncture resistant pockets for knife storage and plastic inserts to hold hot augers. There are plenty of pockets to hold small tools and amp meters. It also has a clear plastic pouch to hold a Milwaukee LED stick light (or a small cellphone if you dare). 5 Stars

The MILWAUKEE Lineman's compact aerial tool apron is a very well built and heavy duty apron. It has heavy duty eyelets for hanging it and the pockets are riveted to the apron back. It has multi size pockets to accommodate the different lineman tools. it has a special pocket augers that includes a plastic tube for holding the augers. It also has a special pocket for a flood light that also protects the light. This is a quality apron.

I help my brother in law part-time with some electrical jobs. This apron helps keep tools organized in the bucket truck while working up high. It has plenty of pockets to keep all you tools in its own place. On a recent job we swapped out 125 amp service for 200 amp service. Having your bolt/wire cutters handy in a pocket was nice. Also having several other tools on this apron we use but not carried in my tool pouch, was nice. The magnetic holders work well for sockets, etc. I can carry long drill bits, large wire cutters, hammers, drills, nippers, allen wrenches and more. I bought the accessory hangars, but the apron has D-Rings and good quality eyelets to mount it multiple ways.
