How long is the rod?
The Sloped Ceiling Kit does not include a downrod. It contains the following components: A) Mounting Plate B) Canopy C) Downrod Ball A downrod is included with the purchase of a Modern Forms fan. Additionally, you can purchase extra downrod lengths to extend your fan's reach, using the SKU format: XF-(Length)-(Color Finish).

Out of the box, all Modern Forms downrod ceiling fans can be installed on a sloped ceiling up to 30 degrees. If the angle is greater, a sloped ceiling kit is required, and can accommodate up to a 45 degree sloped ceiling.
There are two types of down rods 1/2 inch and 3/4 . Can it be used with both types of rods
Our Sloped Ceiling Kit is designed specifically to work with our 3/4 inch downrods.
So the weight of the fan is essentially held up by the 4 little screws that connect the canopy to the mounting plate ?? Or am I missing a piece
This question has been asked before. It appears you might be missing a piece. The fan's weight should not be solely supported by the four small screws connecting the canopy to the mounting plate. Those screws primarily secure the canopy and electrical connections. The fan's weight should be supported by the mounting bracket attached to the outlet box in the ceiling. Consult the installation instructions to ensure all parts are present and correctly installed.
Do I have to purchase the extension pole separately or does this come with one?
This sloped ceiling kit does not come with an extension pole. You would need to purchase it separately.
