It says it can be washed. But when I washed it, it turned brown and has brown stains all over it now. Anyone have this happen?

does the chair have a slipcover that comes off?
Yes it does come off there is a clearly visible zipper up the back, you unzip that and throw it in the wash per instructions. I dried til damp then stretched to put it back on the chair. If you dry completely it could be hard to stretch.

No, this chair does not come in white.
What is the weight restirction my family is tall and over 270#
The weight limit is 250
So I personally think this is a chair for a small space and a smaller person. I purchased for my teen daughter's room and I would say she is petite size. The back of the chair is not tall and therefore not supportive for a taller person. I wouldn't think a 270# person could fit. However I am just over 200 lbs. and I just fit the chair.
I don’t know about weight restrictions but I suspect the chair might not be comfortable for you. I am 5’ 2” and it works for me. Not a lot of back support as it is low so keep that in mind too. My 6’ husband has sat in it for a few minutes and says it is okay but he does not look comfortable. I will look for another chair for him.
