Apparently my lights have a built in photo cell. Is there any way to bypass that?

Hello, These floodlights have a 180 degree knuckle mount which will allow you to adjust the flood light up and down in whatever direction you choose. The swivel from side to side is done on the mounting plate of the fixture. It can lock into any direction you choose on your mounting plate for a side to side swivel. Does this light turn off after sensing the sun?
I think a photocell is built in, you just have to connect it. That's the only explanation why the lights came on only after it got dark. I did connect a plug under the wiring plate when it noticed it was unplugged, that must have been it. They work great!
