Hello, It arrives fully assembled.
Can I use this on my deck as a privacy screen
Hello, This is an indoor item, not for outdoor.
It will not provide you full privacy but it does a decent job. The screen part is braided so there are some holes in between.
I would say yes, if your deck is covered. I have mine on a porch. If you want it to be free standing, you'll want extra length/panels so you can position it in a stable way so the wind doesn't blow it down. But you could also attach it to something, like a railing for example. I suspect if your deck is not covered and the screen is going to be repeatedly rained on, it might not hold up very well. It's made of what appears to be thin pieces of wood and woven strips of palm leaf. For an open deck you'd be safer with a waterproof resin faux wicker sort of thing.
