Bonzai 5-Spray 3-Jet Handshower and Showerhead Combo Kit in Black

I installed two of these Pulse Shower systems. Water hose within the casing ruptured on one unit about a year ago. The company suggested that I purchase replacement hose from the local plumbing store as it is readily available. I was unable to find a compatible hose after exhausting search locally. The company replaced the unit for a charge. Fast forward. Water hose inside the casing ruptured in the second unit. The company responded that this model is discontinued and no support is provided.

I have a unit that is seven years old. Developed several leaks in the body. Manufacturer wont stand behind the product.

First off, I extremely loved this product when first installed. Simple to the point and luxury at a decent price (At least i thought). The metal shell is very well machined and sturdy even the showerhead is made pretty decent. The problems come with the inner tubing and handshower tube. This is where the product fails though you will have no idea until later. With very little user accesibility (even though it looks like it) Its almost impossible to repair. So, is it worth $300 (plus possible install cost) for 2-4 years of use before a serious leak arises ??? that’s your choice. But here’s my story... I installed the shower as soon as it arrived pretty easily except for the accessories . The plastic dish looks nice but can be broken without much force and the hand shower hose is not easy to thread. Moving forward I began to loose pressure less than a year in. Thinking it was my co-op (as they constantly change water temp etc.) I ignored it and was still pretty happy. Some time later I began noticing water leaking at the base and figured it was the hand shower connection. I tightened it which seemed to hold up a few months until it got worse. At this time I was unable to tend to it for some time as I was dealing with “life”. Now except for the occasional weekend or holiday relax time I’m pretty quick with the shower so it doesn’t get much use but eventually, using the hand shower water began to spray everywhere. I opened it up to find a split in the shower head hose luckily in an accessible area. Ok easy repair, right, wrong. After fixing the tubing and attempting to test. One of the 90 degree plastic couplers connected to the jets has sprung a leak. Now yes this has happened all over some time but at this price point it doesnt cost the company anything to use decent fittings and tubing that will last longer than 2-4 years.

I am a 54 yrs. old female that enjoys DIY task. After a trip to home depot to get a part to connect the bonza shower system my shower looks great and my daily showers are heaven.

Finally was able to get it installed and used it for 3 weeks now and absolutely love the product

Great product! This model appears to be of better quality than the one I purchased 8 years ago. It fit perfectly in the same holes as the original which made installation simple. Thank you PULSE!

Its ok, nothing to write home about Easy install This was replacement for the old model which was updated

I replaced a 12 year old pulse showerspa with this one. It is not only much better looking but performs better than my old one. The handheld showerhead in particular is really nice, with a large amount of spray. Two minor complaints: the knob to switch from overhead shower to hand held to body spray doesn’t have click stops, so as you turn it you can go past the spot you need to be in. The second complaint relates to installation. The fitting that attaches to the threaded water pipe you insert into the wall, has flanges on it - making it easy to screw it in. However, I chose not to remove the threaded pipe that was already there and had to dig out the tile around the fitting to accommodate these flanges. And I couldn’t use either of the concealers to hide the attachment because of the flanges.
