Customers say the cabinets are well-made with solid wood construction and a good finish, making them a great value for the price. Many found the assembly process straightforward, although the instructions were often deemed inadequate or lacking. The cabinets are particularly appreciated for their functionality in laundry and storage spaces.

Good quality, finished wood cabinets (no mdf/particle board)
These made in Vietnam cabinets are good quality. All plywood cabinetry with solid wood doors and front face. Finish is clean and content arrived well packaged and without any damage. Only mild negative is that the top and bottom edges of the sides and back are unfinished plywood. Some images show them to be painted, but not the case on mine. The top cannot be seen and while the bottom can, its a small detail that a bit of paint can easily take care of.
Assembly is very straightforward, but I recommend doing a dry fit before applying any glue or fasteners. The "instructions" I received were not accurate, and had I followed them, it would have been a mess. The sides are dovetailed to the front face and must be assembled first. (the instructions illustrate installing the back first). After the sides are slid into place, gently let them droop open and install the tops and bottoms. Then place the back onto the top and bottom, and bring the sides up to meet everything. Once its all in place, I used some ratchet straps to cinch things up. (Note, if you do this, place them down first before beginning the assembly.) With everything strapped together you can begin to fasten everything down. For a clean look, as you are driving screws, do what you can to persuade interior joints to be as closed as possible. Holes for the four long screws in the back should be pre-drilled, to avoid bulging the plywood. Just make sure you keep the drill plumb, as you are edge drilling 1/2" plywood.
Shelves are 15/16" thick plywood and have a nice finished veneer.
Doors have no finger relief for opening, so some separately purchased handles/knobs are required.
Overall dimensions were accurate as described.
Home Depot shouldn't even carry products like this ......
I purchased two Plywell cabinets for installation above the washer and dryer in a laundry room adjacent to the kitchen. I had hoped that if the quality was suitable, I'd order similar cabinets for the Kitchen. The cabinets arrived in reasonable time, picked them up at the store, and returned home. After painting the laundry room, I was ready to assemble and install the cabinets. The back on both cabinets were warped, and made assembly very difficult. I almost took them back, but with fresh paint and a washer and dryer moved out of the way, I wanted to get the project done. I assembled the cabinets, WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS. Unbelievable. Their "videos" on the Plywell website are of little use, and neither are the few videos on YouTube. Logic and perseverance got them assembled, and they look acceptable, but both will require substantial tweaking to get them to hang properly. The white shaker finish is pretty good, and the natural finish inside a nice contrast. The assembly, minus instructions, included 14 metal brackets to be used (based upon video "instructions" for a wine rack) on the top and bottom corners and face frame. See picture. Primitive, but they work. If you were to use these in a kitchen, you'd see the bottom brackets when sitting in a kitchen or dining chair. But for a laundry room - they're passable. STEER CLEAR OF PLYWELL. The warpage, the lack of instructions, the odd metal brackets - and the strong price - make this brand undesirable. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.

It was exactly what I wanted. I used it in our upstairs bathroom for storage. It matched the vanities I also ordered through Home Depot (Home Decorators Collection Westcourt) in white.

Preface to the review details: For those looking at these and wondering about the negative reviews - Unless you receive a damaged unit or parts missing cabinet, disregard anything referencing assembly or quality - this is meant in no way to be an affront to anyone doing this for the first time.
That said - If you need step by step, overly detailed, real time instructions to assemble a cabinet with as few parts as these, then you should quite probably not be assembling a cabinet(s) for your kitchen as your first pass.
After an exhausting search over 6 months for all wood cabinets with as many features as possible, For The Money, these quite possibly are the best value cabinets on the market if you posess the patience, skill set, and minimal tools necessary to put them together in the best way possible. Going thru Home Depot provides you a delivery point, return point if damaged, or you're not happy with the purchase, along with help in loading to your vehicle/trailer [if you do like we did and purchase 15 cabinets]
Could the tolerances be a little tighter? Yes, Are there slight gaps in some of the assembly points? Yes. BUT for the most part they are in places you'll never see anyway AND can be easily overcome with light woodworking skills, proper glue up, clamps, 23 gauge pin nails or 18 gauge brad nails.
Assembly time will vary based on how thorough you want to be. 1 - 2.5 hrs per cabinet should be planned AFTER you're setup to assemble... if it takes you more than 2.5 hrs you're overthinking everything.
Minimal tools: Non-marring hammer, phillips screwdriver, wood glue, 3/8" artist type brush.
Recommended tools: The above [including the screwdriver] along with a small drill [12V is fine], #2 phillips magnetic bit, air compressor, blow gun attachment, 23 gauge pin nailer [Porter Cable has the most efficient for the money], 1" headless pin nails, 48" clamps [Irwin or Dewalt quick clamps are great] Tight Bond II glue [viscosity and application tip are quite useful along with drying time, working effectiveness], wire nippers [if you overshoot a pin], small upholstery hammer, painters tape, cardboard box opened/flattened for assembly point [to catch glue drips, protect your working surface]
Begin by opening the package and removing the parts one piece at a time
Separate packing from the wood pieces and get the packaging out of your work space
Open your parts box or boxes and separate the screws/hinges, etc. into a paper plate [or magnetic tool tray] this will help along the way as they will slide all round on your table or disappear as luck will have it.
Find the bottom/back piece to start with and one side
Brush off any dust or splinter wood chips [this will get in the way of a good glue up] - the blowgun attachment with the air compressor is perfect to get the joints debris free.
Apply a bead of glue to joints/edges to be glued BUT DO NOT carry the bead to the end. You'll use the brush to spread the glue to the end and minimize overrun on the edges
Tight Bond II has a very workable viscosity, but the tip of the container is the bonus as it allows you to run a very consistent bead and adjust flow with a slight squeeze of the hand. A little practice and you're off gluing like a pro
Spread the glue to every part that will be in contact in the joint(s)
Put the first piece together and support it via the clamp
Solid squeeze but don't over do it - the wood can be splintered at this point if you apply too much pressure
You should see a slight over run of glue from the joints of about a 1/16th of an inch or so insuring you have enough to soak into all the contact points.
NOTE: When applying glue, fill any plywood voids with glue prior to putting the pieces together
Keep clamp pressure on for a few minutes while you install a few 23 gauge pins
Use an "X" pattern when installing the pins but be careful to not overshoot the angle or the pin will pop thru.
Practice with your gun prior to on a scrap piece to get comfortable with this process if it's your first time. The "X" will provide a slightly more secure holding option for the pins
DO NOT move the cabinet across the floor and/or flip it over quickly during the initial assembly. It's still fragile and will fall apart
Install the hinges in the corners/sides. One hinge should be on the bottom, front face attached
When using the screw gun, DO NOT get in a hurry. You can easily strip out the screws in the wood. The screw needs to set tightly, but do not over turn. PRACTICE first if you're minimally experienced.
[If you strip a hole, move over or use a small wood dowel with wood glue, whittled to size then hammered in to fill the hole. After the glue sets overnight it will be good as new.]
Use the screwdriver to apply the final pressure/turn
I would never install newly assembled RTA cabinets until they've had 24 hrs to cure.
If you've been diligent and exercised attention to detail, your cabinets will feel quite sturdy and ready to install/add a top.
HOWEVER, no individual cabinet is built to have lateral forces applied. This type of furniture will support vertical weight after proper assembly, installation, and with the addition of a countertop when utilized in a level situation.
DO NOT BUY THIS CABINET.
It is complete trash. The company doesn’t care enough to include a manual which I’m sure is to cut costs. Who cares about the customer right? You know, those real human beings that spend money to acquire your product?
You can use a video in the product listing to figure out how to put it together. Nah. Do better. I bought better cabinets for cheaper than this however I am in a time crunch so I can’t return it and use something else so I just have to make it work.
OSB junk not even real plywood. Have fun fitting the 7/8” gap if you intent to install a range hood. Thanks for giving me a weird size that I have to custom rip a 2/4 to fit. You should be paying me not the other way around. Absolutely horrible design relying on 90 degree brackets to bear the load HAHAH NO. This is junk. Pure junk. They literally suggest using wood glue which should tip you off to that this is pure garbage. Anyway it “works” but it totally sucks and I regret buying this junk. Stay away. My 6 year old nephew could design something better.
This was a great purchase. It looks good, is sturdy in construction, was not difficult to assemble. The instructions were much better than other manuals I’ve seen recently. Would definitely purchase this brand again.
The cabinet was clearly damaged and should have been sent back. The damage was on the side that was going to butt up against another cabinet. I did not have time to reorder another cabinet so I repaired it as best as I could. This was not the first cabinet that was damaged for this same job.
For everyone complaining about the difficulty of assembly or the lack of instructions, you didn't grow up playing with legos.
Building this cabinet was quite intuitive and took less than 10 minutes, the doors took an extra 5 to get installed and lined up. Instructions were simply not needed. The construction is perfect and the paint could not be better.
