About This Product
The elegant designs and rich colors of these rugs are inspired from 19th century antique Persian rugs. A special herbal wash gives these rugs their luster and an aged patina. This collection is hand tufted in India of 100% hand-spun premium wool. This is a great addition to your home whether in the country side or busy city.

No, this rug is spot clean only.
I have taken wool rugs outside and gently washed them with the hose and hung them on a long rail to dry. However, I live in a very dry climate.

What are the other colors than Teal Blue/Taupe? We are most interested in the dark areas in the border. Is it a shade of red, brown, rust?
The color is more of a soft burgundy, not overwhelming, and complementary. There is a soft yellow and subtle olive also in the rug.
There are shades of beige and taupe on the border. There is also red on the floral accents as well as light hints of yellow and olive.
