100% pure virgin wool pile, hand-hooked to a durable cotton backing. American Country and turn-of-the-century European designs. This collection is handmade in China exclusively for Safavieh. This is a great addition to your home whether in the country side or busy city.

- New wool rugs shed as a natural consequence of how they are made; vacuum a new wool rug 1-2 times a week for the first few weeks using a low pressure vacuum cleaner without beater bars; vacuum in the direction of the pile, not against it; do not pull loose ends or stray loops, clip them with scissors to remove

What is the true color of the roses? Is the background dark , med or an in between blue? does it leave footprints? thanks!
Hi Martha. The roses come in a yellow-ish gold, red, and apricot color. The blue background is more of a medium-standard blue color. This rug doesn't really leave footprints but it is made of 100% wool, we would recommend it somewhere where it will see a bit less foot traffic. Thank you for your inquiry.
Are the flowers more orange or pink? Coral? Is the background cream or tan? The photos from two different sizes are so different in color.
The flowers are combinations of pale pink, dusty rose, rust, golds, and light grey. The background is cream color.
