Questions & Answers

Its impossible to talk to a human when contacting Samsung. Is the a way to get an actual physical copy of the actual owners manual. Not the simple user manual that came with the washer and dryer. I do not want to download 70 pages. Thanks

    Hi RayW, Getting connected to the internet in today's day and age is pretty standard in most household devices and appliances, let us answer your question about it. The internet connection on this dryer isn't essential in operating the dryer. It is a great feature to use for monitoring the dryer when it is turned on. An LP conversion kit is not included with this Gas dryer model, you will need to purchase it separately.                   This comment is about the dryer I purchased last week, 01/17/24. Dryer: DVG55A7300E/A3 - Samsung - 7.4 Cu. Ft. Smart Gas Dryer with Steam Sanitize+ The design of presets is great, but the user should be able to adjust these presets when desired. When I select dryer settings such as Normal, I cannot change the Heat or variable drying settings. These settings on the Dial are fixed. I want to select a setting on the Dial and have the ability to change the drying settings. ‎ For example, The NORMAL setting sets the drying heat to high. I want to use the Normal setting and change the heat setting = low, and let the dryer determine how long to run to get the desired dryness. So,it seems my only choice is to go to the Manual setting and set up the heat setting and drying time. That's not a good solution by the software developers for a customer to run this dryer. There should be default settings when you turn on the dryer, but those settings should be changeable.

                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer several months ago along with many other Samsung appliances (washer, Bespoke refrigerator, dual oven stove, range hood, dishwasher and two large tv's) to fill my house being rebuilt after a fire. We never gad a dryer with the steam option and my wife absolutely adores this feature. We love our suite of Samsung appliances and really were surprised whenappliance status shows on our tv screens! We are very longtime Samsung customers and highly recommend all of them.

                        Had this dryer for exactly 2 years. Drying clothes one day and it shut off out of nowhere. Went turn it back on and no power. Called Samsung to troubleshoot with no luck. The 2-year warranty is over just shy of 2 months and I’m on the hook for the repair bill. Disgusted with Samsung and will never buy from them again. I’m a single mother and cannot afford the labor and repair cost. If I knew it would only work for 2 years o would never bought it. Disgusted customer.
