About This Product
Rondec is a finishing and edge-protection profile for tiled edges and outside wall corners. The reveal creates a rounded edge along the tile. It is ideal for finishing the edge of tiled backsplashes, countertops and niches. The Rondec profile has an integrated joint spacer which ensures a uniform grout joint between the tile and profile. Inside and outside corners for the Rondec profile are available separately.

Is this for one piece or for a pack of two or more?
These are sold in individual piece quantities.
Why use these versus a double leg 90? Is there a benefit to one over the other? I'd like to outline two shower niches and a wainscot in a bathroom renovation.
The inside corner (single leg) will need to be aligned with the second profile during installation which takes a little more time than the double-leg corner piece.
Looking at the picture in the previous question. It looks as though you are using this for both inside and outside corners. Is that correct? Sorry i have asked this question but have received a response. I am looking to use it as an inside corner Thanks
The Rondec profile has inside and outside corner pieces available to make these transitions, or you are able to miter cut these to make the transitions. The IV/RO125AT is the part number for the inside corner for the 1/2" profile. Please feel free to call us at 1-800-472-4588 for more information.
Will this trim rust over time if I use to trim out shower niche?
The Rondec profile is designed to be used in a wet application such as a shower. With the correct care the profile will maintain a clean rust-free appearance. Oxidation films on solid brass or aluminum may be removed with a conventional polishing agent, but the film will form again. In the case of chrome-plated brass, anodized aluminum, color-coated aluminum, and textured color-coated aluminum do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Hi do they sell double -leg in bright white to go with A100BW METAL TRIM
The RONDEC (A100BW) does not offer a double leg corner at this time.
Can this be used on an outside corner that is tile to drywall?

My tile is 9 mm thick, will the 3/8 inch Schluter Systems Rondec Satin Nickel Anodized Aluminum 3/8 in. x 8 ft. 2-1/2 in. Metal Bullnose Tile Edging Trim work with my tile.
This profile works up to a 3/8" (10mm) thick tile. For selecting profile heights we suggest using the same height as the tile if available. If the tile is a large format tile (12"x12" or larger) we suggest going to the next size up to accommodate for the additional thin set for setting. Please contact Schluter Systems at 1-800-472-4588 if you need assistance selecting the correct profile height.
Allowing for your thinset, it should work perfectly as the tile is .35" vs .375" bullnose.
Can this be used be used at the top of stairs, to transition from gray vinyl plank floor to carpet stairs?
