1 Gal. Carpet Cleaner

This carpet cleaner does as intended - cleans the carpet. I used the solution in a Shark Sonic Duo cleaner and followed the cleaner-water ratio listed on the Shark container; if I was using a regular cleaner (i.e. Hoover SteamVac, etc), I wold have followed the cleaner-water ratio on the Simple Green Bottle for Light, Medium, and Heavy Carpet usage. Having used the Shark carpet cleaning solution, white vinegar and water solution, and Simple Green, Simple Green smells much nicer without being overbearing and aggravating. I also noticed that Simple Green left the carpet much softer than the Shark and a little bit softer than the vinegar-water solution before and after the second part of the Sonic Duo cleaner process (which entails vacuuming up the dried released dirt, particles,etc after scrubbing the carpet). I didn't notice any discoloration with the carpet as well.

Simple green has always been a name you can rely on. An effective product that is worthy of it's name. It has a pleasant smell that is not overpowering like it's all-purpose cleaner counterpart. Its has a good mixing ratio for heavy stains you might want to pretreat before using any homeowner or store rented carpet cleaning machine. It did a good job on a heavy traffic area in our house.

I have wall to wall carpeting and a German Shepherd and an inside cat and even though I vacuum daily the carpeting gets dirty. I tried using the Simple Green carpet cleaner since their cleaning products are high quality and safer for the environment and ultimately my animals and myself and I am not disappointed. My carpeting does look much better, not brand new of course but far cleaner and more sanitized than just daily vacuuming. I do recommend this product.

We have a high traffic hall area that is carpeted. It gets regular cleaning but the carpet always seems to have a dinged color to it. We used several cleaners and pre-treaters with the same result. I was starting to believe that carpet cleaners we just a way to get your carpet to smell good - without really cleaning any better than just plain hot water. Well, I finally found one that smells good AND CLEANS! Simple Carpet cleaner did the job others couldn't. Just to compare, I had some Rug Doctor product still around from our last cleaning attempt. I vacuumed the area first then taped off the carpet with one side being cleaned with the rug Doctor product and the other with Simple Green Carpet Cleaner. No pre-treating was done. The Rug Doctor was used first then the carpet cleaner was cleaned and refilled with Simple Green. The results are amazing. The side done with Simple Green Carpet Cleaner was bright as new, the Rug Doctor side was the same dingy result we typically experience. The photos tell the story. It is difficult to see the difference captured by the camera until I pull up the tape then you can see the obvious difference. Unfortunately the camera just doesn't do justice that you see in person. I am sold on the Simple Green carpet Cleaner. One note to consider is that the Simple Green Carpet Cleaner had more suds in the extraction passes. Not really a big deal but you might have to watch the dirty tank on your carpet cleaner as it may fill sooner because of the suds. It does not leave suds in the carpet. The rinse passes were pretty much suds free, it just produced the suds in the agitation and extraction passes.

Simple Green Carpet Cleaner is freshly scented and worked sooo well getting out ground in dirt from my carpet. I used Simple Green in an extraction carpet cleaning machine with hot water and the results are amazing and instantaneous after just one shampooing with two rinses. The large bottle is concentrated so diluting with water is necessary when using in a spray bottle for spot cleaning, but the carpet extraction cleaner that I used does the dilution itself during the shampooing.

I have used different carpet cleaners and this one is the best I have come across for get stains out of carpet. I like the fact that its eco-friendly and leaves a nice clean freshness smell when your done cleaning your carpet. I would definitely recommend this product.

Wife has asthma and this product does not trigger it like some others and does a great job cleaning. Don't know why they stopped carrying it in the stores but glad I was able to order for delivery.
