Purchased 2 of these chairs 5 years ago. There is a design flaw where the side of chair is attached to middle section of chair. I have replaced these side panels in the past, but issue continues. Please advise.

Interesting. I came here because one of our chairs just snapped this weekend! It's where the arm piece screws into the back panel. The entire back snapped right in half. I couldn't believe it!

Hello Pam, Please see below for our salt air tips: Keep your hardware in great shape with these corrosion-prevention tips. Apply a color-appropriate appliance touch-up paint (available at your local hardware store). Dab on a coat of clear car wax. Thanks for sharing your positive review with us as well as your thoughts on Phillips screws vs. hex screws. The reason we send hex screws and their corresponding Allen keys to our customers to use for assembly is because hex screws are much less likely to cam out and get stripped than Phillips screws. "Cam out" refers to when the screwdriver accidentally slips out of the screw, which can lead to stripping and possible damage to the product and even injury to the user. If you have a power drill, we recommend getting Allen key bits. This will make many future product assemblies quick and easy.
