How does this rug do with liquid spills? Do the rug fibers shrink at all?
Steve- The Copenhagen Navy Blue Rug does not shed, is easy to clean and stain resistant. The fibers will not shrink.
How thick is this rug? 1/4 inch or like a shag? Does it have a non slip back?
It doesn’t have a nonslip back and is not a shag but short pile. It’s soft and comfortable to walk on but with added padding would be even more comfortable. I was fine without adding padding because it’s such a low traffic area and nobody sits on it.
katie- The Copenhagen Beige Rug has a pile height of 0.5 inches. The backing material is cotton/jute, which is not a non-slip backing. An area rug pad is recommended.
