- EASY CARE: When vacuuming use without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Spot clean stains immediately with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and blot dry. Rotate for even wear.
- COMPACT SHIPPING: Your rug will arrive factory rolled/folded and may have creases from tight packaging and compression during storage. These normally flatten within 3-7 days. You can also reduce or remove creasing by rolling the rug, pattern side up, and massaging the creases with your hands. The backing will loosen to help the rug lay flat. For the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease. Use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease.

Can I purchase a backing that will help product grip the floor?
You most certainly can purchase a rug pad that prevents movement from either the retailer or direct from Unique Loom.
This runner will be laid over the carpeting in the parlor to avoid stains from walking through the house. It states cotton back prevents from moving, but in a situation where it is atop another rug should there be a carpet pad to hold it down securely? And if so, what kind is needed ???

The one in the magazine is a runner. It is 2’ x 6’7”
It wasn't different than was advertised in the magazine. I just thought $32.00 was a great price for this rug! And shipping was free because they sent it to the store and I picked it up.

Cal - This rug could be placed outdoors if you wish. However, keep in mind that it is not designed to be exposed to the elements of being outside.
I think it could be if it were under a covered porch or covered patio. I doubt if it would hold up very well outside in the rain.
