Can this wall-mount range hood be mounted in a two-story house? I have concerns about the remote blower because of the second story above our kitchen. Does the remote blower have to be installed or is it an optional piece for the range hood?

This unit does have to be installed with the remote blower in an attic or a crawl space, as this motor is not located in the base of the range hood like traditional range hoods. If you like the look of this model, but do not have the ability to install a remote blower, this model exists with the motor located in the base! The model number for that is the 697-30.
